The "Murph" is a Hero WOD that pays tribute to Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, a member of the United States Navy who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery and sacrifice in Afghanistan.

The WOD consists of running a mile, doing 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats and running a mile again, all while wearing a 20-pound weighted vest in its RX version, and is known to be one of the most challenging and grueling workouts.
